Subject	Pine Park Children’s Forest Experience Center (“Pine Adventure Forest”) introduced a program where visitors can participate in activities and relax in nature. The center will allocate three Children’s Forest instructors from March 28 to November 30 to provide weekday and weekend programs. During weekdays, the center will provide group programs for young children at 10:30 AM and 2 PM such as “Let’s Become a Spring Fairy,” “Fly, Butterfly!” “Let’s Practice Carbon Neutrality in the Forest,” and “Pine Cone Sports Day.” The center will also offer Five Senses Experience Activities twice utilizing Children’s Forest Experience Facilities. On weekends, the center will offer family classes on the second, third, and fourth Saturdays from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, including coaster making classes using pressed flower, fleshy plant pot keeping classes, folk’s play party in the forest, and photo frame making class using Scandinavian moss. The programs will be offered for free. Anyone who wish to participate in the classes can apply through the Cheongju City’s general booking system. Pine Adventure Forest was built in July 2020 on the area of 5,000 m2, which includes various play areas such as Log Maze, Tarzan Playground (Zipline), Hide-and-Seek in the Forest, net game ground, slides, rides, and block game ground as well as an outdoor learning site and a pergola. It is a children’s facility that helps children develop rich emotions while they freely run around and interact with nature. An official from the Cheongju City said, “We will comply with the quarantine guidelines by imposing mandatory face mask, temperature check, and hand sanitization on everyone who enters the facility as well as disinfection of the facility in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will work hard for the forest to continue to be used as a site where children can participate in activities, learn, play, and relax in nature in the city center.”
