- To Revitalize Cheongju International Airport, Cheongju City Joins Hands with WIDEMOBILE Inc., and Cheongju City Tourism Association - Cheongju City signed a business agreement at the Jikji Room on the 2nd floor at 3:30 PM on the 15th with WIDEMOBILE Inc., and Cheongju City Tourism Association on Wi-Fi Take out Discounts for Cheongju Citizens. This agreement was prepared to provide Wi-Fi Take out discounts at the Cheongju International Airport for Cheongju citizens traveling abroad and nationals and foreigners traveling domestically. Wi-Fi Take out refers to the data roaming terminal that changes 3G/4G (LTE) signals of mobile carriers of each and every country worldwide into Wi-Fi signals, and up to 5 people can use the Wi-Fi for free with 1 terminal, so it is more economical than general data roaming. The discount prices are basically 10% for overseas travels, and 20% – 25% during the promotion period that occurs at least once a year, and KRW 3,000 (KRW 3,200 for discounts at the site) per day for domestic travels. The 1st promotion period will be held from the 16th of this month to September 30. To apply, those traveling abroad should make reservations in advance at the special discount site (https://ap.wifidosirak.com/?cjcity), and then rent a Wi-Fi Take out terminal at the WIDEMOBILE on the 1st floor of Cheongju International Airport. Domestic travelers can make reservations at the travel agencies located in Cheongju, and for details, you should make inquiries to the Cheongju City Tourism Association (043-234-8895). In addition, both overseas travelers and domestic travelers can all receive discounts at the site, and must carry an ID card with them when renting and returning the terminal to check whether they are Cheongju citizens.
