Subject	The 2024 Cheongju Street Performances (Busking) set to captivate citizens - The performances will unfold in over 22 sessions, commencing on May 4th and ending on November 2nd - Cheongju has unveiled plans to host the “2024 Cheongju Street Performances (Busking)” from May 4 to November 2, inviting all citizens to join in the festivities. Designed to offer performance opportunities to talented amateur artists, the Cheongju Street Performances also encourage citizens to embrace performing arts effortlessly and add a refreshing touch to their everyday lives. Last March, the city organized an audition for street performers and chose 15 talented performer teams after careful evaluation. The first performance of the year kicked off at 2 PM on Saturday, May 4th at Munam Ecological Park, featuring acts by “Kim Geum-ran,” “Singing Lee Jin,” “Belcocelli,” and “Jarak.” Furthermore, a lineup of 22 performances is scheduled to take place at numerous venues in Cheongju including Yongdam Square, Dongbu Changko, Pine Street, Osong Lake Park, Ochang Lake Park, and Culture Factory to help its citizens indulge in their artistic inclinations. “With the Cheongju Street Performances marking their fifth year since debuting in 2020, we are excited to present a vibrant array of performances featuring saxophone, ocarina, guitar, ukulele as well as traditional Korean music, jazz, classical, and popular music genres. We encourage our citizens to come together and join us in celebrating this occasion," a city official remarked.
