Cheongju announced that the city run pet playground, which used to need pre-registration to avoid large gatherings during the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, will now operate on an application system basis.
In order to solve the citizen complaints about the inconvenience of pre-registering, Cheongju will not restrict the number of users until it reaches the maximum and will allow people to use the pet playground up to 1 hour without any reservation. Registered pets should be accompanied by their pet owners at the pet playground and children aged 13 and under should be accompanied by their guardian. Users are allowed to enter the pet playground freely from 9 AM to 6 PM and up to 48 people can utilize the playground for large dogs and the playground for small and medium dogs at the same time. In addition, disinfection services will be provided for the playground 10 minutes before and after users enter and exit the facility. A city official said, “We will do our best to help citizens use the pet playground safely and conveniently, as long as they comply with COVID-19 prevention measures and we can often disinfect the facilities.” |
