Cheongju-si completed the extension and pavement work on NamiBuyongoecheon Road. The construction work involved extending the length of the road by 400m and the width by 6.5m, and KRW 210 million was invested into the project. The road is a part ofNongeochon Road Line 305, and extends from 1141, Buyongoecheon-ri, Nami-myeon to San 216-1. Previously, due to its narrow width and curved shape, the road was very inconvenient for residents to navigate through. The planned extension forNami-myeonNongeochon Road Line 305 (Yumae Line) is 3km, and the line connects National Road 17 and County Road 11. The 1.7km section leading from National Road 17 to the village has already been opened, and this new construction has added an extra 0.4km to it.
