- Painting experience using printing machines and blocks for free - Cheongju Early Painting Museum (Director Nomoon Park) provides experiential learning through various printing machines and blocks in the Modern Contemporary Printing Museum. The experiential learning includes lead-letter printing using hanji (traditional Korean paper), letter press which prints on the post cards using ink, 3D transfer painting which can print even curves on the cell phone cases, and the transfer printing which prints letters, pictures, and photos on mug cups. Opening hours are the same as those of the museum, and if you make a reservation on the phone in preparation for the large crowd, you are entitled to using it before others. The museum provides space of convenience through a little library in which visitors and residents can read books freely at any time. A person working at Cheongju Early Painting Museum says, "We hope that various experiential learning programs give people an opportunity to have interest in our printing culture. We will continue to discover new cultural experiences to make people feel proud of Jikji." The opening hours of the museum is from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays.
